We expect the engine choices for the 2019 Tucson to be similar to the 2018 model:

- 2.4-liter engine that generates 181 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed automatic
- Turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 175 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque and comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission
In addition to these, we also expect the 2019 Tucson to offer front-wheel drive as well as all-wheel drive. For 2019, the Tucson replaces the turbocharged engine with a non-turbocharged 2.4-liter that produces 181 hp. It will be paired with a six-speed automatic.
